WHO AM I?

My name is Jhon Rodriguez, I am twenty-seven years old, and I am software

development student, I started this career a year ago, because I’ve been working with a

company related to digital products like domains, hosting, emails, and websites, there I

learned how to troubleshoot a website, the first steps to create a new site, and I’ve got

captivated by this industry. With this in mind, I decided to apply to a technology on

software development, I’d heard that the SENA Institution offered a program with these

requirements, so I signed me up, and thankfully I was selected. Here I have learned so

valuable information about how to create a complex site in HTTPS, how to manage

JavaScript, Databases and also how to create apps. It has been difficult for me to

understand some topics because the program that I belong it is a virtual education and

this type of education requires tons of discipline that I didn't have, but now I have

developed in order to fully realize my dream of becoming a developer.

WHAT PROGRAM OR POSITION AM I APPLYING FOR?

At this moment I would like to apply for a Backend Developer position, the reason is that

I really love coding, when I was staring with the program, I knew that other positions like

QA, that means to test the code, or Front-End, that involves the graphical design of the

system, are not positions that I am interested in applying. On the other hand the

backend position that its duty is to create and structure the code, it is for me more

appealing with what I am looking for a job, I always enjoy providing solutions and see it

working, because a backend developer has that role, I think that would be the perfect

position for me.

WHY AM I FIT FOR THIS PROGRAM OR POSITION?

I think that I am perfect for the position because I have the knowledge to execute this

role, I’ve been working hard to learn different programming languages that will help me

to become a better developer. Also, I have got the information provided by the

technology on software development, where they explained and helped me to develop

abilities to analytic thinking, teamwork and deadline management that are crucial to be

part of the development team. The other thing that proves that I am a perfect candidate

for the position is my catalog of development, where we can find websites and different

apps that certify my expertise in the area.

WHAT ARE MY FUTURE GOALS?

For a medium future my main goal is to end the technology on software development, I

am almost finishing the formation and I will need a company where to put my skill on

test, my hope is to get as an intern for this backend developer position and get graduate

soon. For a long future I would like to start my studies in system engineering in the

Politecnico Internacional university where I will fill all the knowledge gabs that I could

have, and I would also like to make a master’s degree in software architecture.
